Vitamin D Deficiency

by Charlotte Embry

I had a blood test last year for my Vitamin D level. At that time my level was 15. After taking supplements for almost one year at 50,000 IU weekly I am happy to report that my level is in the normal range. I have more energy and generally feel better.

I don't have any other medical conditions but I have researched low vitamin D levels and have discovered that it can cause a multitude of problems. Have your vitamin level checked at your doctors office if you haven't already. You may discover that yours is low and like me will feel much better after treatment! By the way I am a 49 year old, fair skinned, female who lives in the deep south. I am not a sun lover and I guess that is why I was deficient.
