Sudden Heart Attack without Symptoms

by B.K. Raghavan

I was a very healthy male with no risk factors. Normal sugar levels, LDL and HDL. I used to go for routine health checks and was always told that all parameters were normal. I always had normal BP.

Four years back, without rhyme or reason, I had a heart attack. I had a 100 percent block on mid Lad. 6 months after the heart attack I was found to have very low vitamin D. I was asked to take 50,000 IU over a month. Two years prior to the heart attack, I stayed indoors most of the time.
I now believe that Vitamin D deficiency could have been one of the main causess.
